If you want to boost gas with an octane of 92 (R + M/2) by adding a gallon of toluene to a 19 gallon tank (the Z32 size I believe) the result will be a 1.16 octane increase. [(92 x 18 +114)/19 = 93.157] Not a bad increase, but if the NOS booster is "right up there with toluene" as you say, it must come in pretty big bottle. After all to boost 5 gallons 1.16 at the same rate as toluene would take just a bit less than a quart of booster.
